The free Commander game tracker for your pod
Every pod has the arguments: who actually wins the most, whether going first matters, which commander is secretly the problem. The Pod Companion's game tracker settles them. Log each EDH game in under a minute and get real win-rate statistics back — free, private by default, no paywall.
Log a game in under a minute
The logging form is built around what you can actually remember after the game ends, not a turn-by-turn replay. For each game you record:
- Who played — two to six players, in turn order. Only you need an account; everyone else is just a name, and your saved-player roster autocompletes your regular opponents.
- What they played — commander per player with autocomplete against the full card database, partner pairs included.
- How it ended — placements, and optionally how each player was eliminated: combat damage, commander damage, poison, mill, or the classic concede-to-shuffle-faster.
- The details worth keeping — optional turn count, final life totals, and a notes field for the play everyone will still be talking about next week.
Logged a rematch? One click prefills the same table so you only set the new placements.
A Commander stats tracker, not just a log
The log is the input. The output is the stats page your pod will actually argue over: win rate per player, win rate for each player-and-commander pairing, the colors you really play versus the colors you think you play, average game length, and average final life. Every number is computed from your logged games only — and the tracker is honest about small samples, flagging any stat built on fewer than five games instead of pretending three wins is a 100% win rate that means something.
Because turn order is captured with each game, your log also answers the eternal one: does going first win games at your table? Across all pods on the site, the answer so far is on the global stats page.
Private by default, anonymous in aggregate
Your game log is visible to you and nobody else. There are no public profiles, no leaderboards you didn't ask for, and no way for another user to look up your games. Logged games do feed the site's public global Commander statistics — but only as anonymous aggregates: commanders, colors, turn order, placements, and elimination causes. Names, usernames, accounts, and per-game dates never leave your log. That page is the format-wide picture; your log stays yours.
What the tracker has seen so far
Live numbers from every game logged on the site, updated as pods log games.
An EDH game tracker that will follow you to the table
The website logger is half of the plan. The other half is The Pod Companion app, in development for Android: a life tracker for four-player games that captures the same stats automatically while you play. It shares accounts and data with this site, so games you log here by hand and games the app tracks at the table land in one history. Start logging now and the record is already there when the app arrives.

FAQ
Is the Commander game tracker free?
Yes. Create a free account and log as many games as you like. All of the stats — win rate per commander, colors, turn order — are free too. Nothing sits behind a paywall, and there is no premium tier.
Can I log EDH games with players who don't have accounts?
Yes. Only the person logging the game needs an account. Everyone else at the table is recorded by name, and the tracker keeps a saved-player roster for your pod so regular opponents autocomplete and their history stays consistent even if you fix a spelling later.
Are my logged games public?
No. Your game log is private to your account by default. Logged games do contribute to the site's anonymous global statistics, but those aggregates never include player names, usernames, accounts, or per-game dates.
Does the tracker support formats other than Commander?
The tracker is built for Commander first, and stats are never mixed across formats. Support for logging other formats may come later, but Commander pods are the focus.
